I'm an architect, researcher and lecturer. I studied architecture and industrial design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, but started my career as a carpenter in Germany, with a company specialized in restoring wooden objects and structures. I gained international experience on different interdisciplinary projects and regularly develop social interventions and experimental wooden structures in various constellations. Since 2016, I'm working for United Nations Industrial Development Organization as an international expert in design and wood technology. I was part of the research team “Conceptual Joining”, funded by the PEEK program of the Austrian Science Fund FWF and co-editor of book “Conceptual Joining”, Birkhäuser / edition Angewandte, 2022. Currently, I'm teaching at the Institute of Art Sciences and Art Education (DAE/DEX) at the Angewandte, a course called “Studio Holz” focusing on design, experimentation and fabrication with solid wood and wood based materials and an University Assistant at the Institute of Architecture, [Applied] Foreign Affairs Department.
